An advanced on-line learning environment using virtual reality systems

A new on-line learning environment using virtual reality Systems was proposed. Three virtual studios, where teachers and students were in each, were connected with ATM and ISDN networks. They shared a lecture within a same virtual space and the video was distributed on multicast networks. We made a lecture of archaeological studies and assessed it with the methodology for the subjective assessment.
