Negotiations for the Aje development off Nigeria may soon speed up again with final awards expected shortly after the partners raised more cash. The final investment decision on the US $220m Yinka Fo-lawiyo operated project in shallow water in OML 113 was taken last October with Rubicon being awarded the FPSO. The final two major contracts left open are for the drilling rig - which was originally due to be awarded in February - and the operations and maintenance of the FPSO.
