BP's US $9 Bn West Nile Delta development off Egypt is back on according to the country's oil minister. Sherif Ismail said that after three years of limbo the UK operator and partner RWE had agreed to relaunch the project with first production set for 2017. Back in 2010 BPand RWE approved the gas development of two blocks in the West Nile Delta development-North Alexandria and West Mediterranean Deepwater.
