BP approves US $12 Bn Egypt offshore giant...

BP confirmed the final go-ahead for the giant US $12 Bn West Nile Delta (WND) project-in Egypt and said it is already planning further developments. WND will take in 5 Tcf of gas and 55m bbl of oil from fields in the North Alexandria and West Mediterranean Deepwater blocks. BP believes that there is the potential to add another 5-7 Tcf with future exploration which could boost WND production through later phases.
