Short-stroke servomotor actuators can hit speeds of 900mm/s

In 2016, Wittenstein unveiled a novel actuator in the form of a servomotor with a built-in screw drive. It has now announced a short-stroke version, capable of speeds up to 900mm/s, which can be a configured as a small servo axis for dynamic short-stroke applications. The actuators are designed for applications such as positioning, joining, bending, gripping and dispensing - or for installations where space is limited.
