Innovation in respect to products and services is a key factor for a company to maintain a leading position in its area of expertise. This is particularly important in organizations involved in delivering technological products such as the telecommunications industry which experience rapid change and short product life cycles. To this end the factors that lead to innovative practices in a rapidly changing workplace have been a focus of research. One such factor is leadership style which is instrumental in developing good working conditions leading to job satisfaction and consequently to increase employee innovativeness. A research paper by Al-edenat (2018) focuses on the role of transformational leadership in the reinforcement of product and service innovation and the role of job satisfaction as a mediator in this relationship. Data was gathered from the responses of 486 employees working in three telecom companies providing mobile phones and internet services in Jordan to a questionnaire survey and from semi-structured in depth interviews with 15 team leaders.
