摘要

We evaluated the hypothesis the elevalted intratumoral amount of biological microelements induces the transmetallation of Gadolinium contrast agents, release of free Gd and prolonged delay of it in the tumor. As the malignant brain tumors demonstrate significantly higher degree of cell lysis and release of Zn, Co, Cu and Mn into extracellular marix [1], the malignant tumors are thought to demonstrate higher degree of delayed 24-h Gd delay, than bening ones.
