Plants due to be judged at the cancelled RHS Chelsea Flower Show and HTA National Plant Show are being launched anyway, with Hillier, Thompson & Morgan, Suttons, HilverdaFlorist and Raymond Evison among the growers involved.Five new plants will be available from Hillier Garden Centres from this month: Lysimachia christianiae 'Sunburst' has been developed by Hillier Nurseries from a plant originally grown by plantsman Roy Lancaster, who worked under Sir Harold Hillier for many years and helped collate the original Hillier Manual of Trees & Shrubs. 'Sunburst' is a trailing perennial that can grow more than 1.5m in a season. It has dark-green foliage and produces a mass of vibrant golden-yellow flowers for four-to-six weeksin early summer.
