If we visit another company's premises, we would be very surprised, and probably angry, if we were not allowed to visit the toilet. Yet that is the situation that many delivery drivers find themselves in. They are denied access on security grounds, or because of perceived overloading of staff facilities. However, drivers are often on the road all day, and with the closure of public toilets there are very few places which they can visit for this universal need.
