Bears Grip Spot LNG Prices in Asia and Europe

Northeast Asian spot LNG prices dipped 100 to $5.55 per million backs Btu on weak demand and the supply glut,according to Energy Intelligence assessments for deliveries four to eight weeks ahead.Spot LNG prices in Southwest Europe were also assessed 100 lower at $4.70/MMBtu.The UK National Balancing Point day-ahead price was assessed 240 higher at $4.96/MMBtu,while the ICE December contract fell 19￠ to $5.15/MMBtu.Netbacks for Mideast sellers in Asia were almost 790/MMBtu higher than in Southwest Europe,while UK/Belgian net-backs were around 900/MMBtu lower than in Asia.
