US ITC probing some imported Mexican wire mesh; continues wire rod duties

The United States International Trade Commission (US ITC) has determined that there is a reasonable indication that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of imports of standard steel welded wire mesh from Mexico that are allegedly subsidized and sold in the U.S. at less than fair value. Per the announcement, the U.S. Department of Commerce will continue its investigations of the cited products, issuing preliminary countervailing duty determination due on or about Sept. 23, 2020. The preliminary anti-dumping duty determination is scheduled on or about Dec. 7, 2020.
