BUSINESS: Training/Strategy: Scania Argentina offers free driver training course to encourage more women drivers

Argentina - As a way to create more professional drivers, and to encourage more women to enter the profession, Scania Argentina Ltda of Buenos Aires together with the Professional Transportation Foundation (FPT) of Argentina, have announced the first ever truck driver training course dedicated just for women. The course was announced at a ceremony held at the Argentine FPT Training Center in Buenos Aires last July in the presence of Argentina's Vice President Gabriela Michetti; general director of Scania Argentina, Andres Leonard; as well as the presidents of FPT, Dario Airaudo, and FADEEAC, Mario Eliceche.
