France/Belgium - Transport group, Keolis, having already established full electric bus rapid transport (BRT) systems in several French cities(Amiens in May 2019 and Bayonne-Biarritz-Anglet in September 2019), has inaugurated the first 100% hydrogen fuelled BRT system using eight 18m fuel cell powered articulated vehicles from Van Hool in the city of Pau, France. The six kilometre route links 14 stops using a dedicated lane for 85% of the journey and has priority at crossroads.
