Sales of pickup trucks and derivatives plunged by almost 27% to 96,963 units in the first quarter of 2020 from strong year-earlier sales of 132,705 units, due to slowing consumer and business activity and shrinking agricultural output. Volumes declined by almost 42% in March, as the government restricted business and consumer activity to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
