GDP in the goods producing sector of the Canadian economy in April improved by 0.4%from March and was 4.3% above year ago levels according to Statistics Canada. IndustrialProduction in Canada improved by 0.7% for the month and sits 4.9% above last April.Increases were realized for the month in both durable and non-durable sectors of 0.8% and1.5% respectively.
