In the OCTG section of the Report, wemade a comment related to OCTG inventorynoting that if drilling spreads around – not soconcentrated in the Permian Basin – we wouldlikely need additional OCTG inventory tosupport the activity. For drilling to spreadaround much, we need line pipe. It wasreported recently that 50,000 to 80,000 bpd ofoil production was being kept offline due to alack of takeaway capacity – combined withflaring regulations – in the Bakken. In ourlatest Weekly, we referred to an article thatpointed out that the amount of gas being flaredin Texas was enough to supply every home inthat state. That is an enormous waste ofprecious resources and a much better solutionwould be pipelines. Given the greenhouse gasreduction efforts, how long will it be before thisis a problem?
