VALMET BREAKFAST SEMINAR November 2017 (LONDON)

As part of London Pulp Week, Valmet hosted their customary Breakfast Seminar, which this year featured two talks, both, unsurprisingly, on the subject of pulp mills. Over the last decade these have got significantly larger in size, with the first 'million tonner' being APP Hainan Mill in China in 2005, followed only last year by the first 'two million tonner' at APP Oki, South Sumatra. These vast enterprises now dwarf paper mills, and the engineering firms that supply them have worked hard to help their new owners realise the benefit from their new and expensive assets.
