Radiologic correlation between the thickness of the roof of the glenoid fossa and that of the bony covering of the superior semicircular canal

Objectives. Dehiscence of the superior semicircular canal (SSC) has been associated with alteration of the temporomandibular joint, although data explaining this association are lacking. The present study examined the correlations between the presence of dehiscences and thickness of the bone covering the SSC and the roof of the glenoid fossa (RGF).
