Eric Finkeistein is an economist at RTI International, a research institute in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. His research focuses on the economic causes and consequences of obesity. He recently completed a text entitled The Fattening of America: How the Economy Makes Us Fat, If It Matters, and What to Do About It.Adam Gilden Tsai is an internal medicine physician at the University of Colorado Denver. His research interests include treatment of obesity with diet, exercise, and phar-macotherapy, in particular, the evaluation and management of obesity in primary care settings. He also studies ethnic and socioeconomic disparities in obesity care.
