Oil Review Africa (ORA): You had over thirty years' international experience in the oil industry. Can you share your experience with us and how it has been since you assumed your position? Woji Weli (WW): My long career with Shell was a rich one from the perspective that I was privileged to acquire different skills in oil and gas engineering and the management of projects, assets and stakeholders spanning the land, swamp, shallow and deep-water terrains. I was an oil and gas facilities design engineer, project manager and asset manager with assignments in Nigeria, the US and France. I was a pioneer staff of Shell's deepwater organisation in Nigeria and saw through the company's first deepwater field development in Nigeria from licensing to production.
