Notes from the Interstice: Cognitive De-mapping, Object Meaning, and the Artistic Imperative

The following article examines the potentialities in reimagining the boundaries of glass disciplines by way of a unique perspective: that of a glass worker traversing the interstitial spaces between glass art, scientific glass, and activist art. It is proposed that these disciplines ' commonalities are abundant and unifying, and the need for creating glass objects that work towards a greater good is upon us.
