We are avid hikers, constantly exploring New Hampshire's finest mountains, waterfalls and forests. It has been several years now since we first began exploring, and from the beginning,Forest Society properties have been choice destinations.Propelled by our devotion to hiking and our own Buxton-Simons Forest, we always enjoyed visiting new reservations to see what they offered. We quickly discovered that many Forest Society properties lie unknown in the shadow of New Hampshire's most popular outdoor destinations, and we also discovered that these are usually the most scenic. We felt that they deserve far more attention than they receive, although at the same time, we reveled in their solitude, content that such hidden gems would remain intheir present unknown state.
