Fresh enquiries for AS reported

Fresh enquiries are reported for standard capro grade AS – fuelled largely by a number of leaps in prilled and granular urea prices in the last week. However, importers continue to seek prices in the $120s cfr duty unpaid range – falling far short of the $105-108 fob currently sought by Chinese producers. There has been little in the way of new interest for urea, as importers digest fob levels sold this week. Although there are a number of vessels shipping to Turkey at the moment, these are mostly cover for previous sales.
