Developing-world livestock projects: gender equality as the key to sustainability and resilience to climate change

Application Re-orientation is proposed of livestock development projects towards an explicit gender-equality focus, coupled with the utilization of thrifty and adapted local breeds. We contend that this will contribute to resilience to climate changeand to sustainable rural development.
