摘要

The majority of the Cambodian population is engaged in small-scale agriculture and the country is subsequently highly vulnerable to climate change. The country currently has low adaptive capacity to address changing climate and related impacts. Climate change thus poses a significant threat to the country's agriculture and food security. Analysis reveals that more than 80 percent of Cambodian farmers already suffer from water shortages. With anticipated increasing variability of rainfall (including more frequent floods and droughts), the country's agricultural sector is increasingly vulnerable.
