Air Quality Monitoring loT Launched

The EPA has completed the establishment of 100 air quality monitoring spots in Kuanyin Industrial Park. Inspections are done through intensive monitoring, data convergence and analysis, and the tracking of pollution hot zones and the times at which pollution is detected. The EPA and Taoyuan City Government have jointly inspected six factories, for which six violation warnings were issued, with two factories handed over to a prosecutor to face criminal offenses. The EPA states that 10,200 monitoring spots will be set up within the next four years for pollution investigations, so as to strengthen environmental monitoring and safeguard the environment and public health.
