Cosmo Oil to complete coker expansion

Japanese oil company Cosmo Oil is scheduled to complete expansion of its 29,000 b/d delayed coker unit at the Sakai refnery to 31,000 b/d during the next maintenance shutdown planned later this year, under a strategy to tap demand growth projected for low-sulphur marine fuel to meet the Internation- al Maritime Organisation’s (IMO) global sulphur cap.
