High-sulphur Us Gulf prices coke pause rise

The US Gulf coast 6.5pc sulphur petroleum coke price was steady on the week at $44.50/t, the frst time in seven weeks it did not rise. Tight supply in the US Gulf has pushed prices sharply upward, particularly since the end of June. The benchmark high-sulphur coke price is about 22pc higher than the assess- ment for the week of 24 June.
