The investigation of alcoholic beverages and smoking effects on formation of urinary calculus

In this research we were looking for impacts of alcoholic beverages and smoking on formation of oxalate kind of urinary calculus. On the whole, sixty three 24-hours-urine samples belonging to people who consumed alcoholic beverages were gathered and cameunder close scrutiny. It must be mentioned that two series of 24-hour-urine samples were taken from testifier group. First series was comprised of fifteen samples and second series included fifteen samples too. Entirely, thirty 24-hour-urine samples ofpeople who did not consume alcohol that constitute our testifier and normal groups were inspected. In each step, after gathering all the samples, a little bit of calcium were measured according to instructions. And some experiments were carried out on the samples in each sequence such as: measurement of optical absorption, volume of urine and pH of urine. Results of average of calcium density of 24-hour urine belonging to members of testifier group were within the scope of normal but calcium thickness of 24-hour-urine of those who consumed alcohol not only were not normal but also were lower and according to comparison of acquired averages from T-test, there is a reverse meaningful relationship between those who were intoxicated and normal scope of those who were not intoxicated.
