Preparation of Proton Acid Doped Polyaniline and Its Properties

摘要

Polyaniline doped with the protonic acids such as HCl, sulfosalicylic Acid (SSA) and HCl-SSA were prepared by the oxidation-chemical polymerization under the condition of ultrasonic wave. The structure and thermal stability were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Thermogravimetry (TG). The results indicate that the Infrared spectra peaks shift toward the lower wavenumber. The doped PANI samples partly crystallize and exhibit more unstable compared to Emeraldine Base polyaniline (EB). The study of the cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge/discharge on electrodes made of the doped polyaniline powders indicates that the order of electrochemical activity of the polyaniline doped by different protonic acids is polyaniline doped by HCl-SSA (Codpan) > PAn-HCl > PAn-SSA. The Codoped polyaniline has the higher specific capacitance at the same current density.
