Wefa extends its site and optimizes its pron 9 July the medium-sized company

Wefa officially opened a new management and production building at its site in Singen, Germany, along with an efficient ventilation and air-conditioning unit. The investment for the full package of measures amounted to around €2.8 million. Besides enlarging the production area for various manufacturing activities and extending the management offices and the laboratory, a ventilation and air-conditioning unit with heat recovery incorporating the energyefficient billet-heating power plant for the production area of Wefa was installed. Furthermore, an additional transformer for covering peak loads and smoothing the power supply, and to provide redundancy in the event of a transformer failure was installed. For further energy saving, the entire production are was converted to LED lighting.
