Turkey targets refractories development

The Turkish government has pledged to support the country's refractories industry as part of its 11 th five-year development plan, which was submitted to the Turkish parliament on Tuesday July 9 following approval by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Under the plan, which covers the period from 2019-23, the government has singled out research and development (R&D) and investment in Turkish refractory materials production as a "supported special area."
