Jack Barrett was sent by H. Q. to a place near Delhi on a mission to search out the man who was planning a rising against the British government. He got an employment in a small general stores owned by one Brown, an Englishman. Brown was a fine businessman. Barrett mixed around with the local people. It took him a few months to find that Brown himself was the traitor who fanned and financed the revolution. Barrett was engaged by Brown to incite the people in a marketplace to attack the resident Britishers.Jack managed to pass on a warning through an accomplice.........This tale of suspense came out in the May, 1929 issue of this periodical.
