Wool school: An incredible amount to learn

Do you have your sheep shorn, stuff the wool in a bag and never give it a second thought? Often, I'd look at my wool at the end ofa shear and think, "I really would like to know more about what I'm looking at."This July I had the opportunity to attend a two-and-a-half day course on wool handling and evaluation that was held in conjunction with the All Canada Classic Show in Truro, Nova Scotia. When I told my husband I was going, his response was: "How could you possibly talk about wool for two-and-a-half days?" To tell you the truth, I kind of wondered the same thing. It turned outthere was an incredible amount to talk about.
