Carnival to add nine Lng-fuelled ships by 2025

US-based cruise ship operator Carnival plans to add nine new LNG-fuelled vessels to its feet by 2025. These will lift the number of LNG-fuelled ships in Carnival’s cruise feet to 11. The frm launched the world’s frst LNG-fuelled cruise ship, the AIDAnova, in late 2018, followed by a second, the Costa Smeralda, at the end of November. The Costa Smeralda is operated by Italian subsidiary Costa Crociere.
