Petrobras cuts Bolivia gas off take

Brazil's state-controlled Petrobras has reached an agreement with its Bolivian counterpart, YPFB, to cut the amount of gas it receives by a third to 20mn m3 /d. The deal, which clears the way for YPFB to sign supply contracts directly with clients in Brazil, modifi es an arrangement signed in 1999 for 30mn m~3/d. The supply is delivered along the 30mn m3 /d Gasbol cross-border pipeline that links Bolivia with Brazil (see map).
