Kosmos fast-tracks E Guinea drilling and writes off Ghana fields

Kosmos is planning up to three wells off Equatorial Guinea next year with drilling of more exploration wells potentially to follow the year after alongside wildcats off Sao Tome & Principe and Cote d'lvoire. The company has also written off US $58m for the Wawa and Akasa fields off Ghana saying there are better places to invest its money. The former was once expected to be a tie-back to the TEN Droiect and the latter to Greater Jubilee.
