ADX said it is still in discussions "with a number of parties" about financing an appraisal well on its shallow water Dougga project off Tunisia although reserves have been cut. The Australian company is trying to push through a US $930m 100 MMcf/d project involving a 45km pipeline to shore to a new gas plant. First it has a contract for the Noble Globetrotter II drillship for an appraisal well on the discovery in the first quarter of next year. The field is in around 655ft (200m) of water in the Kerkouane permit. Before it is able to do this ADX must have funding in place for the US $24m drilling contract.
