The mechanism to carry the cut harvest across the working line of an agricultural harvester is a continuous conveyor (10,11) at the harvester (1). It has projecting counter blades (32,33), across its line of movement (U1,U2), combined with the cutting blades at the working level (18) of the conveyor and/or a carrier as a holder. The separate conveyor sections are linked together in a row with swing axes at their ends, on two or more spaced movement planes, as a continuous conveyor (10,11). Guide bodies for a stripper are between the two movement planes, with a structured contour towards the stripper so that, at the delivery and transfer zone (14) for the cut corn, the stalks are stripped cleanly from the continuous conveyor (10,11) without rebounding or impact movements on them.
