Tullow confirms exploration change with new Cote d'lvoire quartet

Tullow Oil has reinforced its move away from its history as a deepwater explorer and taken four largely onshore blocks in Cote d'lvoire where it will start work early next year. The company was hit hard by the sudden downturn in the oil price at a time when it had invested heavily in deepwater exploration and development and is still paying the price in its balance sheet.
