Virtual Reality Training Approach for Occupational Safety and Health: A Pilot Study

Aims of this study are to test the proposed training approach that is leveraging on the advantage of virtual reality. Literature confirms that Virtual reality could provide an optimum learning experience. The proposed training tool utilizing virtual reality application on safety andhealth training were designed and developed through rigorous analysis. Next, to test its usability and compatibility among users. A pilot study has been conducted among the OSH practitioners in the industry and three groups of trainees from safety and health training for construction courses.Comments and reviews from each user were taken to enhance the proposed training tool especially for the benefits of the local construction industry.
