Lesion induced by blood pressure cuff in epidermolysis bullosa: F-18 FDG PET/CT imaging.

Epidermolysis bullosa encompasses a group of inherited cutaneous disorders with characteristic blisters easily induced by minor mechanical injury from pressure or friction of the skin. The authors present a case of recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa with positive PET finding from non-neoplastic skin lesion of the upper extremity caused by blood pressure cuff.
