Divisional Focus: Ceramics Society

摘要

The Ceramics Society provides the focus within the Institute for the whole of the ceramics community, from building materials and whitewares to refractories, advanced ceramics and eementitious materials. The Society provides a forum for the exchange of information, knowledge and state-of-the-art practice on all aspects of ceramic activity globally. It functions via three independent committees - Ceramics Science, Cementitious Materials and the International Clay Technology Association (ICTa). The Ceramic Society maintains close links with the independent Society of Glass Technology (SGT), plays an active role in the European Ceramic Society (ECerS) and interacts more generally on the wider international scene, especially with the International Ceramic Federation (ICF). I0M3 members who select the Ceramics Society as their primary technical division are reminded that they are also automatically members of the European Ceramics Society.
