CRT's Strong Science Endures in CRM

One of the challenges of a strong meeting like Cardiovascular Research and Technologies (CRT) is to make the scientific content endure. As in previous years, the content of CRT 2018 was superb, the science was real and, despite continuous growth in attendance (over 3000 participants and delegates from around the world), the majority of the in-terventional cardiology community needs to rely on different media outlets to get access to the conference's educational materials. Further, scientific content that usually is presented in the form of an abstract, orally or via poster, does not translate to a manuscript, and good data are lost. Thus a goal of the CRT meeting is to develop outlets to overcome these limitations. Over the past years, we have partnered with JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions to publish the top 200 highest-graded abstracts. All the presentations, lectures and live cases are available on CRTonline.org with a premium subscription. Interesting cases are published in a designated supplement of Cardiovascular Revascularization Medicine and posted on crtonline.org. Finally, new innovations and selected top abstracts are expanded to full manuscripts and published in this supplement of CRM.
