Background: This study evaluated the ability of two Doppler ultrasound-derived parameters, the carotid corrected flow time (FTc) and respirophasic variation in carotid artery blood flow peak velocity (Delta Vpeak), to predict fluid responsiveness in spontaneously breathing patients.
