US Feb acrylates rise on upstream, supply pressure

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US acrylic acid and acrylates esters freely negotiated contract prices settled higher for February on Wednesday, primarily on pressure from feedstock propylene and supply constraints. The contract gains took butyl acrylate (butyl-A), for example, to a new range of 94-99 cents/lb ($2,072-2,183/tonne) FD (free delivered), as assessed by ICIS.
