August increase initiatives emerge on some grades of US polymeric MDI

HOUSTON (ICIS)--An increase initiative of 10 cents/lb ($220/tonne) has emerged on some grades of US polymeric methyl di-p phenylene isocyanate (PMDI), as of 1 August or as contracts allow. A seller who sought an August increase initiative on monomeric MDI (MMDI) earlier this week expanded its list of grades to include a grade of PMDI used in wood-binding applications.
