SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India's domestic supply of caustic soda is not expected to be affected by an unplanned shutdown at a plant owned by Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals (GACL) in Dahej, India. Heavy rains over the weekend prompted the company to shut its operations as a precautionary measure, it said in a statement.
