India's FACT fails again in urgent bid for April spot ammonia cargo

LONDON (ICIS)--For the second time in 24 hours, an urgent spot enquiry by India’s Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) for about 7,500 tonnes of ammonia for April arrival failed to attract any attention, a market source revealed on Tuesday. The group had sought the cargo for arrival at Kochi (Cochin) on, or before, 21 April, and although suppliers Muntajat or Trammo were understood to be interested, the tight delivery window to the west coast port prevented such a deal.
