Belgium’s Solvay to sell 70.6% stake in Solvay Indupa to Unipar

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Solvay has signed a definitive agreement to sell its 70.6% stake in Solvay Indupa to Brazilian chemical group Unipar Carbocloro, the company said in a statement on Tuesday. Solvay Indupa produces polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and caustic soda with production sites in Brazil and Argentina. The company has 956 employees and is listed on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange.
